COMPETITIVE LEADERSHIP OF COUNTRIES IN THE EPOCH OF GLOBALIZATION: GENERALIZATION OF THEORIES AND IDEOLOGIES

Abstract
At the beginning of the third millennium, the system of international relations undergoes radical transformations associated with a radical change in the factors of the competitiveness of economic actors, the decentralization of the process of adopting global management decisions and the "blurring" of the established contours of the country's hierarchy in the global economic structure. The article describes the contribution of the theory and ideology of competitive leadership. Namely the theory of growth poles in the development of the methodology of competitive leadership of countries. In the general theoretical discourse the problems of competitive leadership in countries played an important methodological role in the theory of endogenous development. The new theoretical level of the conceptual problem of competitive leadership of the countries was raised in the theory of external dependence, and the most successful theoretical generalization of competitive leadership of countries in the era of globalization is the theory of world systems, which has moved the research to a global level.
