COMPETITIVENESS OF DOMESTIC AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS ON THE EU MARKET: PROBLEMS AND PROSPECTS

Abstract
The relevance and prospects of the entry of enterprises of the agrarian sector of Ukraine into the market of the European Union are investigated. The necessity of further development and expansion of the presence of domestic producers of agro-food products in world markets is proved. At the current stage of the economic situation in agriculture (APG) Ukraine is complicated by a number of problems, which can help address only deepen its integration into the world economic relations. The article considers the factors that hamper the strengthening of the competitiveness of agricultural products in foreign markets, that is: low level of development of the domestic financial and credit system; underdeveloped infrastructure of agriculture; insufficient harmonization of Ukrainian quality standards with international ones; lack of state targeted financing of scientific and applied developments, etc. Analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of the functioning of the agroindustrial complex in the context of integration processes, and proposed improvements in the competitiveness of domestic agricultural products in the European market.
