Concept and Problem of the Humanitarian Sphere in Contemporary Ukrainian Discourse
Journal Title: Українознавство - Year 2016, Vol 3, Issue 60
Abstract
The paper reveals the ambiguity of the term “humanitarian sphere” owing to the connotation with the concept “humanities”. Meanwhile, the term “humanitarian” in the languages of the leading civilized countries is related only to the welfare of the people or to the lack of such a state. The analysis of regulatory documents shows that the concept of “humanitarian sphere” is still not clearly defined.
