Content-Based Image Retrieval using HSV and Hadamard DWT
Journal Title: International Journal for Research in Applied Science and Engineering Technology (IJRASET) - Year 2016, Vol 4, Issue 10
Abstract
With the development of the Internet, and the availability of image capturing devices such as digital cameras, image scanners, the size of digital image collection is increasing rapidly. For this purpose, many general purpose image retrieval systems have been developed. In CBIR, images are indexed by their visual content. Content based image retrieval consists of three parts: feature extraction, indexing and retrieval part. The techniques which are used to extract features of an image are called feature extraction techniques. The choice of features plays an important role in image retrieval. Some of the features used are color, texture and shape. Combination of these features provides better performance than single feature. Here we are extracting color and texture features with the proposed method consists of HMMD (Hue Min Max Difference) color plane and HDWT (Hadamard Discrete Wavelet Transform) techniques. It is proved in research work that HMMD HDWT reduced the size of feature vectors, storage space and gives high performance than intensity-Haar, RGB-Haar and RGB-HDWT.

Experimental Study on Precast Concrete by Partial-Replacement of Cement with GroundGranulated Blast Slag (Gabs)
Precast Concrete plays a vital role in development of infrastructure i.e. buildings, industrial structures with pace and good quality of construction with efficient quality control. On the other side cost of concrete is...
Approaches in DOS Attacks
Application DoS attack, has emerged as a larger threat to network services, compared to the classic DoS attack. To identify application DoS attack, we propose a novel group testing (GT)-based approach deployed on back-en...
The bounds of crossing number in complete bipartite graphs
We compare the lower bound of crossing number of bipartite and complete bipartite graph with Zarankiewicz conjecture and we illustrate the possible upper bound by a modified Zarankiewicz conjecture.
Shear Strengthening of R.C. Beams by using GFRP
Shear is actually a very complex problem and is not completely solved for simple reinforcement concrete beams. The current codes (American Concrete Institute (ACI), ISIS Canada and I.S.456:2000) qualify the nominal shea...
