CORRELATION OF LINGUAL AND EXTRALINGUAL FACTORS IN IMAGE CREATION OF BRITISH POLITICIAN

Abstract
The article deals with the question of correlation of lingual and extralingual factors in the image creation of British politician. The main strategies and tactics were also analyzed. They help to affect citizen’s consciousness according to the synthesis of mass media and accurately created image of political leader. The basis of the work is British mass media discourse. An emphasis of the article was made on mass media methods in creation of public image of politician and their ways in achieving the goal. In the article was also investigated a question about politicians features that affect voters the most.
