CRIMINAL LEGAL CHARACTERISTICS OF LEGALIZATION (LAUNDERING) OF PROCEEDS FROM CRIME

Abstract
The article deals with the issues of the qualification of such a crime, which is determined in article 209 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, as legalization (laundering) of proceeds from crime. The concept of predicative act, methods of legalization of persons who can be subjects of this crime, as well as comparison with the legislation of foreign countries are explored.. It analyzes the current legislation of Ukraine concerning its compliance with international standards combating money laundering crime. The areas in which the investigated crime is most often committed were identified.
