CRIMINALISM – TECHNOLOGY OF COMBATING CRIME (CRIMINALISTIC TECHNOLOGY)

Abstract
The article outlines some components of the doctrine of forensic technology, on the basis of which it is possible to develop a set of scientifically sound practical recommendations on improving the effectiveness of criminal law enforcement in the field of criminal proceedings based on a technological paradigm. Indeed, the methodological crisis of modern criminalistics can be win by moving to a new paradigm that can explain the emerging problems and determine the ways to solve them. Accordingly, an updated epistemology is needed – this is the epistemology of criminalistics, and its methodology – criminalistic technology, as the practice of cognition and the form of rationality of this knowledge.
