CRITERION FOR ASSESSING THE CHOICE AND USE OF MEDICAL EQUIPMENT PROTECTION SYSTEMS

Abstract
In the work, the types and systems of protection of medical equipment that work with the voltage quality indicators other than those standardized by GOST 13109-97 are considered. The criterion for choosing a system for the protection of medical equipment, apart from the safety of patients, is the set consisting of the factors affecting the equipment, the types and zones of protection, the cost of the elements of the protection system, and the minimization of the prevented damage is determinant Prevented damage is the intersection of sets consisting of the types and zones of protection and the cost of the elements of the protection system. Evaluation of the effectiveness of the protection system is its payback period.
