CROWDFUNDING AS AN INNOVATIVE WAY TO ACCUMULATE INVESTMENT RESOURCES

Abstract
Purpose. The aim of the article is to study the phenomenon of crowdfunding as an innovative way to accumulate investment resources comparable to the major categories that characterize the investment process. Methodology of research. General scientific and special methods were used during the study, including: analysis and synthesis, theoretical generalization, abstract and logical – in the study of the essence of the phenomenon of crowdfunding; structural and logical – with substantiation of types of crowdfunding; economic and statistical methods, structural analysis, graphical analysis – in the study of the dynamics of crowdfunding sector and its structure by various parameters. Findings. The essence crowdfunding and crowdfunding platform in the context of their role in the investment process has been substantiated, the author approach has been formed. This approach made it possible to treat crowdfunding platform as a complex mechanism into the social and economic environment that provides interaction of demand for investment resources and investment proposals with the use of the Internet. The main kinds of crowdfunding by the proposed effect for investors to attract investment resources and types of proposed contributions have been determined. Promising implementation of crowdfunding as an innovative way for formation of investment resources in the Ukrainian realities has been substantiated. Originality. Its own definition “crowdfunding platform”, “crowdfunding” comparable with their role in the investment process and development is presented, classification of crowd funding is improved. Practical value. The obtained results of research are aimed at solving formation of investment resources to address issues for realization of projects and development. They can be used in the management of the investment process at different levels.
