Abstract

In the second half of the nineteenth century the industry of Ukraine was grew. Very popular at the time was the sugar industry. In Slobozhanschina, as in other regions of Ukraine, tens hectares of land set aside under sugar beet. The enterprises of sugar placed in many parts of country. The article characterized the estates of Kharytonenko and Koenig. Families who were able to get a lot of wealth due to the sugar industry. They have created a unique manor ensembles that remain to this day. The manor Sharivka is analyzed in the article. This manor belonging to the palace type. Koenig Family continued its completion. Thanks to the care of owners, the estate was the most famous of his time. Centre manor is a palace in neo-gothic style. The palace was built in several stages. In the first half of the nineteenth century built western part. In the end of the nineteenth century built the middle part with the two towers. In 1911 year built a large hall. The interiors of rooms made Dresden artists. Interesting were the hall for the orchestra, billiard room. In the estate there were house of manager, farm buildings, church and park. The central of manor complex belonging to the palace and park. Park of manor was built from oak grove. The park increased and at the beginning of the twentieth century was 70 hectares. Decorations of the park were fountains, alley, bridge, lake. In the west of the park was the church, it was built in the classical style. Today the church destroyed. The farmstead Natalivka is considered in this article. Same this area of production helped the family move from peasants to hereditary nobility. Manor is named in honor the granddaughter Natalia of I. Kharytonenko. The ensemble included: manor house, household structure, guest house, stable, water tower, greenhouse, church and park. The feature of the estate is that all the buildings are stylized in various architectural styles. Water tower made as a fragment of a medieval castle. The main gate of the estate built in the Art Nouveau style. In the estate remained unique church, which is an architectural monument. It was built by A. Shchusev. In the church there was a collection of ancient icons. The walls of the church decorated with sculptures of S. Kononkov. The park of manor was founded in 1884 year. The estate of Natalivka was named either after his second wife, Natalya, or his granddaughter of the same name. Kharytonenko’s conviviality, generosity and good taste attracted numerous guests, many of whom could not help admitting the progressive methods used by the Kharytonenkos in running their businesses. The main house of Natalivka was destroyed. This farmstead is a unique monument of Slobozhanshchina art.
