CURRENT PROBLEMS OF ECONOMIC AND LEGAL REGULATION OF RURAL GREEN TOURISM IN UKRAINE

Abstract
To date, there are a number of economic and legal problems regarding the development of rural green tourism. Existing normative legal acts are not able to cover and regulate the circles of relations that are formed between the subjects of tourist activity in connection with the emergence of new types of tourism and the expansion of the boundaries of their organization. Favorable legislative conditions need to be created in Ukraine for the successful development of rural green tourism in Ukraine. Adoption of the draft Law of Ukraine “On Rural Green Tourism” is extremely necessary, since this bill clearly defines the general legal, organizational and socio-economic principles of implementing the state policy of Ukraine in the field of rural green tourism. The article focuses on the current problems of the economic and legal regulation of rural green tourism in Ukraine. The normative and legal provision of rural green tourism in Ukraine is analyzed. The interpretation of the essence of the terms “tourism” and “rural green tourism” is given. The necessity of development of rural green tourism in Ukraine is considered. The role of the Union of Rural Green Tourism in Ukraine in the functioning, planning, development of the sphere of rural green tourism and growth of the tourist image of Ukraine at the national and international levels is noted. The necessity of passing the Law of Ukraine “On rural green tourism” was substantiated. The socio-economic significance of development of rural green tourism is considered. The proposed economic and legal measures are necessary for the effective development of rural green tourism in Ukraine.
