Cutaneous metastases of selected malignancies

Abstract
Skin is a relatively uncommon site of cancer metastases. The clinical presentation of cutaneous metastases is variable but nodular lesions are most frequent and they can mimic many of dermatological diseases including primary skin cancer and non-cancer diseases. Cutaneous metastases have often poor prognosis and they may also be the first sign of cancer. This paper shows basic knowledge on cutaneous metastases, their morphology, localization, differential diagnosticand theirorigin.
