Dangerous entry into the aircraft fuel tank – Introduction of mobil robot
Journal Title: INCAS BULLETIN - Year 2019, Vol 11, Issue 2
Abstract
This paper focuses on the dangers assoicated with entry into aircraft fuel tank. The analysis will help to demonstrate that in the future a mobil robot will make this work easier for the human factor. There are number of advantages from this automation to make the job of the human factor easier and to work in a safe environment. The risk of contamination with harmful substances is reduced because we can put the robot to work. After detailed analysis of the working environment to which a mechanic is exposed in the aviation world, it has come to light that the introduction of a robot makes it minimal. I tried to analyze several types of mobile robots, and after this analysis I decided that the most suitable mobile robot is the hexapod.

Determining the optimum topology of composites by the flexural stiffness criterion
An important stage in designing of pieces made of composite materials consists of establishing the composite topology in such a way that it has certain properties needed in exploitation. The paper presents the mathematic...
Performance evaluation of propulsion systems as LEO deorbiting devices
This paper evaluates the possibility of deorbiting a launch vehicle upper-stage at end-of-mission from low Earth orbit, by using an additional propulsion system as a means of achieving deorbiting and complying with the “...
Aerodynamic Interference between Oscillating Lifting Surfaces and Fuselage. Part 6: A Panel Method for Non-Lifting Bodies Oscillating in Subsonic Flow
In the sixth part of this series, we continue our study started in the previous article, i.e., we present the basis of the method for calculating the unsteady airforces on oscillating non-lifting bodies. The method propo...
Liquid rocket engine performance assessment in the context of small launcher optimisation
The paper presents a fast mathematical model that can be used to quickly asses the propulsive characteristics of liquid propelled rocket engines. The main propulsive parameters are computed using combustion surfaces obta...
Low-Order GAM Admire System in Landing Preparation Phase
In this paper the symbolic and numeric computations for the simplified GAM (Generic Aerodynamic Model) Admire system are presented . The numeric computations were performed into the MatLab environment with the aim of pre...
