Journal Title: Сучасна гастроентерологія - Year 2018, Vol 0, Issue 1
Abstract
The article presents the overview of recent literature data on a rare variant of chronic gastritis, deep cystic gastritis (gastritis cysticaprofunda). In the most cases, this disease is diagnosed histologically in patients after gastric surgery, its etiology and pathogenesis have not been clarified yet. Cystic gastritis is frequently associated with intestinal metaplasia of the gastric mucosa andadenocarcinoma;therefore, it is considered as a pre-malignant condition. Due to the rarity of this pathology, treatment has not been developed. The authors presented their own clinical observation with the detailed description and illustrations of histological changes in the gastric mucosa.
