Defeating DOS Attacks in Low Rate Networks Using Network Multifractal.
Journal Title: International Journal for Research in Applied Science and Engineering Technology (IJRASET) - Year 2016, Vol 4, Issue 12
Abstract
Nowadays, distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks pose one of the most serious security threats to the Internet. DDoS attacks can result in a great damage to the network service. To have a better understanding on DoS attacks, this article provides an overview on existing DoS attacks and major defense technologies in the wireless networks. There are number of algorithms existing to counter Low rate DoS attacks but their performance and efficiency vary from one algorithm to another. In this paper we discuss how MFDFA algorithm works and also overcome the drawbacks of previous system and compare it.

Multithreaded Variable Chunking in Source Based Deduplication in Cloud Backup Services using Support Vector Machine
Cloud computing is typically defined as a type of computing that relies on sharing computing resources rather than having local server or personal devices to handle applications. we developed a novel multithreaded varia...
Dielectric Studies of H-Bonded Complexes of P Bromoacetophenone with Alcohols
Dielectric constants of the binary mixtures of P-bromoacetophenone with alcohol such as in (1-Propanol, 1-Butanol, 1-Pentanol) in carbon tetra chloride were measured at 303 K. Make use of these measurements to calculate...

A Research Paper on Heat Transfer in Notch Fin and UN Notch Fin
We studied the experimental observation and simulation for rectangular unnotched fin validated for different thermal load (i.e., 20W, 30W, 40W, 50W) .After that we also simulated different cases (i.e., 20W, 30W, 40W, 50...
