DEFINING CHARACTERISTICS OF INNOVATION ACTIVITY IN THE REGIONAL DIMENSION

Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the dominant characteristics of innovation activity in the regional dimension. There was identified significant regional differentiation in indicators of innovative activity. Also, the potential innovative level of regions of Ukraine was estimated. Moreover, there were substantiated the main priorities of innovative development of regions in conditions of globalization challenges.
