Defining the Temperature Change of the Brake Disc
Journal Title: Acta Technica Jaurinensis - Year 2018, Vol 11, Issue 3
Abstract
In the article the thermal analysis of the brake disc and separator disc of a high performance power machine will be presented. As example an agricultural vehicle with weight of 30000 kg and maximum travel speed of 40 km/h will be taken. At stopping the vehicle, the braking system located in the wheel body becomes activated. The traversing of the piston forces the brake discs to friction. Therefore significant amount of heat is generated, which needs to be derived from the system. The article presents the construction of the disc brake system. Providing boundary condition, the radial temperature change of the cooled part of the brake disc will be defined.

Safety Considerations Regarding to the Shielding of Electric Fields During High Voltage Live-line Maintenance
Live-line maintenance (LLM) has several technical and economic benefits. Planned works can be executed without any consumer disturbance, while the network is energized. Strict regulations regarding to the working method,...
Study on Relationship between Roles of Public Open Spaces and Pedestrians Inside Campus
Public open spaces in campuses are social places for students and staffs. Convenient accessibility both physical and visual is the main factor that attracts people to use these spaces. This article analyses the physical...
Investigation of Long Cellulose Fibre Reinforced and Injection Moulded Poly(lactic acid) Biocomposites
We investigated injection moulded composites of a polylactic acid matrix reinforced with cellulose fibers. We produced long fiber reinforced granules (preforms) with the use of two technologies: extrusion coating and fil...
Creating a two-way Land-Use and Transport Interaction model for Budapest
This paper intends to show that despite limited data availability it is still possible to elaborate semi-sophisticated LUTI models which can be a stepping stone for countries that are less developed in terms of transport...
Overview of the Finite Element Method
By using scalar and vector potentials, Maxwell's equations can be transformed intopartial differential equations. Generally, the partial differential equations can be solved by numerical methods. One of these numerical m...
