Design and Research of Dynamic Detection System for Medium-Low Speed Maglev Contact Rail
Journal Title: Urban Mass Transit - Year 2025, Vol 28, Issue 4
Abstract
[Objective] Contact rail is an important component in maglev rail transit system engineering, providing safe and reliable electrical energy for medium-low speed maglev trains. The installation of contact rails can affect the reliable operation of maglev trains, so the performance of contact rails needs to be tested. [Method] By adopting a theoretical analysis method and based on relative position relationship between F rail and contact rail, three common detection key points of dynamic detection system for medium-low speed maglev contact rail are obtained, i.e. rail height, rail deviation and hard points. A detection method for rail height, rail deviation and hard points is proposed. According to theoretical analysis results, the mechanical structure of the contact rail dynamic detection system is designed and a prototype is made. The dynamic detection system for medium-low speed maglev contact rail design is verified through experiments, and the repeatability accuracy index of the dynamic detection unit for medium-low speed maglev contact rail is evaluated. [Result & Conclusion] The similar current collector structure used in the dynamic detection system for medium-low speed maglev contact rail can effectively reduce vibration and improve the hard point detection accuracy; the detection accuracy of rail height and rail deviation of the above-mentioned dynamic detection system can reach 0.5 mm, meeting the conventional design accuracy requirements of ±2 mm; the repeated detection accuracy of rail height and rail deviation can reach 0.4 mm, and the repeated detection accuracy of hard point detection can reach 5g, both meeting the conventional design requirements.
