Design, Fabrication & Simulation of a Semi-Rigid Helicopter Swashplate Control Mechanisms
Journal Title: International Journal of Engineering and Science Invention - Year 2018, Vol 7, Issue 12
Abstract
This project work deals with the indigenous design, fabrication, assembly and simulation of a semirigid helicopter main rotor swash-plate mechanism and its components. Initially Pencil-paper drawings and wooden structure have done to fix the correct dimensions for swash plate components and structural members. All the necessary components to operate a semi-rigid helicopter main rotor with swash-plates are fabricated and assembled. The components are cyclic & collective pitch assembly, swash-plate assembly, rotor head assembly etc. All the three assemblies, connecting with one another (individual components), give the desired output and have been investigated. The design analysis of gear/pulley diameters and rpm of the transmission system have been done and the simulation is performed in CATIA V5. Demonstration of the swash-plate operation is done constructing a single seat helicopter structure. However, this model helicopter structure and control mechanism parts are self-designed and fabricated, which are not resembled any other helicopters control mechanism. The outcome of this project gives the details about indigenous manufacturing of swash plate control mechanism for a semi-rigid helicopter operation.

A Mathematical Model About Predator-Prey Holling Type-II Effect of Fading Memory - A Mathematical Approach
In this research article, we proposed a predator-prey model with fading memory for Holling type-II functional response is developed. The fading memory term is used with the hypothesis that the predator growth rate at pre...
Coverage Optimization for DVB-T2 SFN Networks
Single Frequency Network (SFN) television broadcasting systems have been widely deployed in broadcast network, such as more recently in DVB-T2 which is based on coded orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (COFDM) mo...
Simulation of Process Scheduling Algorithms
CPU scheduling deals with the problem of deciding which of the processes in the ready queue is to be allocated the CPU. By switching the CPU among processes, the operating system can make the computer more productive. A...
Contribution des données géospatiales a l’étude du risque de paludisme en milieu péri-urbain: cas de la localité d’Anonkoua kouté (Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire).
The aim of this study is to determine the risk of malaria in Anonkoua Kouté, in Abidjan Region. Thus, environmental parameters related to the development of the vector were mapped using remote sensing data to identify po...
A Study of Unsteady Magnetohydrodynamic Flow of An Incompressible, Viscous, Electrically Conducting Fluid Bounded By Two Non-Conducting Vertical Plates in Presence of Inclined Magnetic Field
The present article addresses the effect of unsteady MHD flow of an incompressible, viscous fluid bounded by two no-conducting parallel plates placed vertically in presence of uniform inclined magnetic field. One of the...
