Design of High-precision Phase Measuring Instrument Based on All Phase FFT Method

Abstract

To overcome low precision and complex structure of traditional phase measuring instrument, a highprecision phase measuring instrument based on all phase fast Fourier transform algorithm (FFT) was proposed.The STM32F407VGT6 with high performancec Cortex-M4 kernel was taken as the core of the system, and the phase signal was acquired by the high-speed synchronous analog-to-digital converter AD7606. The highprecision all-phase FFT was adopted to calculate the phase, and remote transmission and display of the data through the Ethernet interface were achieved in this scheme.The experimental results show that the actual error of measurement is less than 0.003 degree and the response time is less than 1.0 s when the sampling number is 1 024, the phase range is 0° ~ 360°, and the frequency range is 1 Hz ~ 60 kHz.
