Design of Wireless Electromagnetic Energy Transfer Systems
Journal Title: ANALELE UNIVERSITATII DIN CRAIOVA - Seria Inginerie electrica - Year 2018, Vol 42, Issue 0
Abstract
This paper presents a set of diagrams for wireless power transfer systems (WPTS) with applications in key domains such as: medical, electrical engineering, military, etc. Our research is based on original circuits working as WPTS. All the circuits are using sets of two magnetically coupled coils whose parameters were extracted by simulations using the specialized software ANSOFT Q3D Extractor. The simulations of the circuits were performed using TINA, PSpice and Simulink in MATLAB. We used existing parts libraries from Texas Instruments. The circuits were also physically built and tested and the results were very close to the numerical ones. We also compared the results with data in existing literature and we obtained an acceptable computation error. We also studied the efficiency of the power transfer and presented some practical applications for these systems such as low power battery chargers.

Analytical-Numerical Method for Design of a Single-Phase AC Inductors with Ferromagnetic Core
This paper proposes a more accurate design of a single-phase AC current inductors with ferromagnetic core, for given values of inductance, of peak value of current and of magnetic flux density. The procedure combines an...
STUDY OF UNEVENNESS HEIGHT DISTRIBUTION FOR GRAPHITE PANTOGRAPH CONTACT STRIP
An assumption of data distribution is of great importance because in many cases it determines the method that ought to be used to estimate the unknown parameters in the model. In this paper we performed a study of uneven...
Electromagnetic Shielding System for Information and Communication Equipments
Today, most of the human activities are computer-controlled with respect to equipments and platforms functionality, quality of the process and people and goods safety. Unlike the specialized platforms, where this feature...
Modeling and Simulation of the Coal Flow Control System for the Longwall Scraper Conveyor
In this paper, the modeling and simulation of a coal flow control system for the longwall scraper conveyor is presented. The coal flow on the scraper conveyor, it is controlled by the following variables: the coal flow,...
The Rotary Magnetostrictive Motor: a Promising Solution for Low Power Actuators
This paper contains a theoretical and experimen-tal study on rotary magnetostrictive motor, performed with the purpose of determining the optimal conditions of opera-tion. The two main types of magnetostrictive motors kn...
