DESIGN (TAILORING) STUDENTS' CREATIVE ABILITIES AND CONCEPTS OF CREATIVITY

Journal Title: International scientific journal Science and Innovation - Year 2025, Vol 4, Issue 3

Abstract

In the context of modern education, developing students' creative abilities is a central pedagogical objective, particularly in technical disciplines such as design and tailoring. This article explores the nature of creativity and creative thinking, emphasizing their psychological, philosophical, and educational dimensions. Based on pedagogical theories and practices, it investigates how heuristic education, cognitive-emotional integration, and individual learning environments contribute to fostering creativity among design students. The study further analyzes various components of creative capacity — including imagination, originality, intuition, and self-reflection — and presents a structured interpretation of how these abilities can be effectively nurtured in higher education institutions. The article concludes by proposing strategies for the pedagogical organization of creative education, emphasizing the teacher’s role in supporting the student's creative trajectory.
