Abstract
Celem artykułu jest określenie determinant i strategii kształtujących konkurencyjność towarzystw ubezpieczeń wzajemnych (TUW). Omówiono modelowe determinanty konkurencyjności w sektorze, determinanty konkurencyjności wynikające ze specyfiki sektora ubezpieczeń oraz determinanty konkurencyjności wynikające z misji i potencjału TUW w świecie i w Polsce. Wskazano strategie konkurowania dla towarzystw ubezpieczeń wzajemnych w Polsce.
