Abstract

The paper presents and gives solution to the problem of determining optimal geometric parameters of the deformation zone when piercing bottles on elongating mill of pilger installation 5-12″ at PJSC Interpipe NTRP. The developed method for calculating roll toe angles and inclination of spindles allows improvement in quality and increase in working ability of universal joint elementss
