Determining Preference Parameters as Exemplifield by the Choice of University

Abstract
In conducting research on decision making or consumer behavior, one encounters a number of methodology issues related to respondent sampling, data collection, data analysis tools, and inference techniques used to arrive at final conclusions. Difficulties in identifying the factors determining the choice of university are attributable to their diversity, hence generalizations entail the use of appropriate statistical tools that do not always ensure objective results. The paper offers a review of selected methods used in decision-making process research and associated methodological problems.
