DEVELOPMENT AND ADMINISTRATION OF MUSIC EDUCATION, CONSERVATORY OF MUSIC, NATIONAL UNIVERSITY PHILIPPINES

Abstract
This research is a qualitative research study with the aim to 1) Study the development of The Conservatory of Music, National University, Philippines. 2) Study the development of administration of music education of The Conservatory of Music, National University, Philippines. The National University of Philippines is a highly regarded institute with strengths in very aspect, support of quality research studies and pursuit of academic excellence. Curriculums are revised to be modern and reflect the true environment of social status and development requirements for the future. There are also cooperative programs with campus braches and other institutions worldwide and the college continues exchange programs with international conservatories around the world. Success factor include a clearly defined development and administrative guideline, objective to produce high quality scholars and students by creating support programs to extend and gain knowledge through education, professional services and technology, continuous development activities to motivate students and staff, quality and international standards in research studies through a systematic development and center to coordinate and support research studies. Even though the Conservatory of Music, National University of Philippine has a high approval and development rating, the administrative staff and instructors continue to adapt and make modifications to their curriculums and administrative programs. Continuous development and consistent monitoring are needed to ensure that the college, students and staff are always at their highest potential and reflect the needs of modern Philippine society.
