DEVELOPMENT OF COORDINATION SKILLS IN 11–12-YEAR-OLD FOOTBALL PLAYERS THROUGH THE USE OF SPECIAL EXERCISES WITH A FITNESS BALL
Journal Title: International scientific journal Science and Innovation - Year 2025, Vol 4, Issue 4
Abstract
This study evaluates the effectiveness of fitness ball-based coordination exercises in developing motor abilities among 11–12-year-old football players. Given the critical phase of neuromuscular development in this age group, specific interventions targeting balance, agility, and coordination are crucial. Our findings demonstrate that the inclusion of fitness ball training significantly enhances dynamic balance, spatial orientation, and reaction speed, contributing to overall athletic development and performance improvement.
