In front of this data, we consider essential the research that clarifes the characteristics of the process of social mobility between generations in a peripheral territory of Gran Buenos Aires. It allows us to consider a dynamic examination of social inequality. Este artículo tiene como objetivo indagar en las tendencias de movilidad social en un territorio periférico del Gran Buenos Aires This article’s objective is to inquire at social mobility tendencies that appear in a marginal neighbourhood. In order to do so, we use a quantitative design. At frst place we examine the trends of social mobility. At second place, we examine the odds ratio to upward social mobility, considering as independent variables: acquired, inheritance and demographical factors.
