Abstract
A gro up of young fo ot ball pro fes si o nals was sho o ting at the goal in the sa me way and from the sa me dis tan ce. Each of the exa mi ne es shot ten ti mes in two ro unds. In the fi rst ro und the shot was do ne by the un pre fer red leg in a sta te of ex ha u sti on and with an op ti mal in ten sity. In the se cond ro und, the ot her ten shots we re per for med by the unpre fer red leg in the sta te of ex ha u sti on, but with ma xi mum in ten sity. Af ter ap pro pri a te sta ti stic pro ces sing it was con clu ded that the ma xi mum in ten sity sig ni fi cantly de ter mi ned the in cre a se of the shot pre ci sion, what pro ves the cri te rion hypot he sis.
