Journal Title: International scientific journal Science and Innovation - Year 2024, Vol 3, Issue 12

Abstract

This article presents an analysis of the results of scientific research conducted to determine the distribution of species of the genus Scutellaria of the Lamiaceae family in plant communities of Fergana Valley. To determine the distribution of species in cenotypic formations and associations of xerophilic semi-shrub plants, classical and newest publications on the local flora of Central Asia were used. Based on the research results, plant communities found in the cenotypes of xerophilic semi-shrub plants were identified, where species of the genus Scutellaria are common in the hills of Fergana Valley, and a list of plants Scutellaria adenostegia Briq and Scutellaria comosa Juz was compiled. Based on their wide distribution in comparison with other species in the plant communities of Adir region, new associations have been identified based on their structure.
