Abstract
This study was carried out for emotional, social and economic problems of divorced women. This study examines the social support and hopelesness level among divorced and married women. The population of this research were selected from 430 divorced and married women who live in Turkey. The datas of study were collected with different scales. A questionnaire containing demographic characteristics of women (Personal Information Form), Perception of Social Support Scale (Zimmet and et al. 1988) and Hopelessness Scale (Beck, 1980) was used in study. The t-test and Pearson correlation coefficient techniques was used for analysis. ÖzetBu çalışma, boşanma sonrası sorunlar ile baş etmede zorlanan kadınların duygusal, sosyal ve ekonomik açılardan sorun yaşadıkları düşünülerek, boşanmış kadınların boşanmamış kadınlara göre sosyal destek ve umutsuzluk açısından yaşayabilecekleri durumları araştırmayı amaçlamaktadır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu; Türkiye'nin çeşitli illerinde ikamet eden boşanmış ve boşanmamış olmak üzere toplam 430 kadın oluşturmaktadır. Veriler araştırmanın amacına uygun olarak, araştırmacılar tarafından Kişisel Bilgi Formu, Algılanan Sosyal Destek Ölçeği (Zimmet ve ark.1988) ve Beck Umutsuzluk Ölçeği (Beck, 1980) ile toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizi için t- testi ve Pearson Momentler Çarpımı Korelasyon tekniği kullanılmıştır.
