Divulgação da Biblioteca da Divisão de Gestão do Conhecimento da Secretaria Municipal de Educação e Cultura da cidade do Rio Grande/RS

Abstract
This paper aims to disseminate the results of the Marketing Project of the library of the Knowledge Management Department (Section of Libraries) – City Board of Education and Culture (SMEC), in the city of Rio Grande/RS, Brazil. Disclosure was made through the distribution of brochures and printed catalogs (containing a list of new materials that arrived in the library) in 10 municipal schools in the city, in public libraries Amaury dos Santos, Erico Verissimo, Monteiro Lobato, Escola Viva and SMEC. This marketing initiative of the Knowledge Management Department was the first step in a gradual and steady process. The results are expected to be the best, because we believe that from the marketing, the library will be more noticeable and valued by students, teachers and staff of the Municipality, to make use of these materials that belong to them and that are substantial for educational, cultural, and professional development.
