Abstract
Vladymyr Beletskyy’s article analyzes the activity of the Donetsk Department of the Shevchenko Scientific Society in 2013. The author comes to the conclusion that the Donetsk Department of the Shevchenko Scientific Society has become an infl uential scientific and public organization and now it plays the role of the South-Eastern Scientific Center of Ukraine.
