Dramaturgia del cuerpo

Abstract

This article deals with the role that the body and the dramaturgy have in the contemporary performing arts creation, as well as of the place where the actorcreator is settled in a scene of researchcreation, such as the Dramaturgy of the Body Laboratory. Its construction arises from the inquiry about the creative possibilities that experimentation can shed in academic areas with a standpoint from the dramaturgy of the body. Therefore, in the research of a methodology that allows to decolonize the theater of the textcentrismand established models that become the acting exercise into simple reproduction. This put both, the body and the dramaturgy, in expanded fields that allow a dialogue between them in the construction of new theatricalities, leading the researcher-student to the experimentation and the encounter with the unexplored, to get to different ways of creation and expression, different from the established by tradition.
