Journal Title: Psychology and Education: A Multidisciplinary Journal - Year 2024, Vol 20, Issue 9
Abstract
This study sought to determine the effects of Dynamic Learning Program (DLP) to the mathematics achievement of Grade 11 students in Alugan National School of Craftsmanship and Home Industries. Quantitative research method and quasi-experimental design were utilized in this study. Two sections of Grade 11 students participated in this study as part of the control group and experimental group, each composed of twenty-three (23) students. The control group was taught using traditional method and the experimental group was taught using DLP. The performance of two groups were measured and compared using a researcher-made pretest and posttest. Results revealed that the use of dynamic learning program in teaching mathematics can improve students’ learning. Although learning took place in both groups taught using the traditional method and DLP, the students who are exposed to dynamic learning program have higher learning gains and performed better than the students who are taught using traditional method.
