Autor scharakteryzował działalność opiekuńczą nad polskimi żołnierzami w latach 1939-1945 oraz po zakończeniu drugiej wojny światowej. Artykuł wykazuje niezwykłą wręcz ofiarność Polonii na rzecz rodaków pozbawionych dobytku, własnego domu, cz ęsto rodziny.
