ECOLOGICAL STATE OF SMALL RIVERS OF THE LEFT BANK OF UKRAINE

Abstract
Researched the ecological condition of the rivers Trubezh and the Alta, within the city of Pereyaslav- Khmelnytsky. Analyzed water bodies in Zhytomyr region, namely the river Slovechna and New lake. Asked to assess the toxicity of natural waters on the value of the effective toxicity, characterizing the total effect of the toxicant exposure on the growth parameters of the test object. Effective toxicity is represented as the sum of the coefficients of inhibition of germination, growth and root escape, reduced by the number of considered parameters. It is established that the toxicity of the water ranges from medium to high level in the test samples from the rivers Trubezh and the Alta, within the city of Pereyaslav- Khmelnytsky. In the river Slovechna and the New lake test plants showed the absence of pollutants in these water bodies and biparametric close to the control samples.
