Economic Efficiency of the Export-Oriented Enterprise in the Context of Synergistic Interaction: Dyssynergy-Synergy Paradox

Abstract
Financial and production stability of the enterprise in an economy that is open for external markets is one of the most acute issues of Ukraine’s economy as of today. Development of an environment that is favorable for the sustainable development and effective (international) economic activities can be facilitated by a series of effects of cooperative and synergistic interaction of enterprises operating within an integrated group. The experience of such interaction and the problem of assessment of its economic efficiency were studied using the example of the EFEKT company grouping (based in Kharkiv, Ukraine) belonging to the cosmetics and toiletries industry and the medium-sized type of enterprises. The article discusses the "dyssynergy-synergy paradox", its essence being the fact that the dyssynergy of non-neighboring production operations was transformed into the synergy of business processes by restructuring the enterprise. Interaction of enterprises results in reduced operational costs due to the optimum organization of the production process and logistics, reduced transaction expenses, improved financial stability of the group and its investment opportunities.
