ECONOMIC GLOBALIZATION AS A FACTOR INCREASING THE COMPETITIVENESS OF UKRAINIAN BANKS

Abstract
In the article the features of banking competition, trends in the banking competitiveness, the current state of the banking system of Ukraine, especially the change of banks into groups according to the num-ber of assets, are considered. The analysis in the dynamics of change in the number of banks is held, the share of foreign capital in the authorized capital of banks is calculated, and the concept of «five competi-tive forces» and preconditions for the development of competition in the banking system of Ukraine in conditions of economic globalization is given.
