Abstract
Rozwój globalnych rynków finansowych i pojawianie się nowych produktów finansowych wymaga nowego spojrzenia na edukację finansową społeczeństwa i jej rolę w zarządzaniu finansami osobistymi. W artykule autorka omówiła znaczenie edukacji finansowej w aspekcie zarządzania finansami osobistymi, przedstawiła wyniki badań świadomości finansowej społeczeństwa polskiego przeprowadzonych przez różne instytucje oraz wskazała kierunki zmian w obszarze edukacji finansowej. The development of the global financial markets and the emergence of new financial products require a new viewpoint of the financial education of society and its role in the management of personal finances. In the herein paper, the author at hand describes the significance of financial education in terms of the management of personal finances, while also presenting the results of research on the financial awareness of Polish society conducted by various institutions and indicat-ing the directions of changes in the area of financial education.
