EFFECT OF SOIL SAPROTROPHIC FUNGI CHAETOMIUM СOCHLIODES PALLISER ON THE PHOTOSYNTHETIC ACTIVITY OF BUCKWHEAT

Abstract

The effect of soil saprotrophic fungi Chaetomium cochliodes Palliser 3250 on buckwheat photosynthetic activity has been studied. It was established that pre-sowing treatment of buckwheat seeds with the mold promotes the acceleration of the formation of the plants leaf surface and the prolongation of the duration of the active functioning of the photosynthetic apparatus. An increase in the content of chlorophylls (a + b) in the buckwheat leaves during the flowering and ripening phases has also been noted. Three-year field studies showed a significant increase in buckwheat yield (22.0%) under the action of fungal symbiont.
