Effects of hydrological environment on plant diversity in the Yellow River Wetland of Henan Section
Journal Title: Journal of Henan Agricultural University - Year 2022, Vol 56, Issue 5
Abstract
[Objective] Through the investigation of plant resources and hydrological factors of main stream of the Yellow River Wetland in Henan different sections, the key factors affecting plant diversity were explored. [Methods] Kruskal-Wallis test and principal component analysis were used to explore the differences of plants spatial distribution in the Yellow River Wetland of Henan Section. The main hydrological factors affecting the plant diversity in the Yellow River Wetland were screened out by correlation analysis and redundancy analysis. [Results] In 964 sample plots, 188 species of plants were recorded. There were significant differences in species composition among different sections of the Yellow River Wetland. Surface water pH was the most important hydrological factor, and other hydrological factors such as the groundwater level and the total nitrogen of surface water also affected species distribution and composition to varying degrees. [Conclusion] Herbaceous plant were dominant in the Yellow River Wetland of Henan Section. Surface water pH was the most important hydrological that affect the diversity of species.
