Effects of MHD Thermal Radiation and Heat Source of Viscous Flow over a Nonlinearly Stretching Sheet with Viscous Dissipation
Journal Title: Physical Science International Journal - Year 2017, Vol 14, Issue 3
Abstract
This investigation is undertaken to study effects of MHD thermal radiation and heat source of viscous flow over a nonlinearly stretching sheet with viscous dissipation. The governing equations of the problem are transformed into non-linear ordinary differential equations by using similarity transformations. The resulting equations are solved numerically by using an implicit finite difference method known as Keller box method. The effect of various physical parameters on the temperature, vertical velocity field and skin - friction and they are presented graphically for different values of physical parameters involved. The present result is in good agreement with the earlier published result in a particular case. Numerical results for local skin-friction, local Nusselt number are tabulated for various physical parameters. The nature of velocity and temperature has presented. It is found that Radiation parameter increases and the heat source/sink decreases with the influence of temperature.

Dielectric Properties of 1-ethyl-3-methyl-imidazolium Tetrafluoroborate (EMIM-BF4) Using Cole-Cole Relaxation Model
The Cole-Cole relaxation equations were derived from the Debye equation. The dielectric constant ε^' and loss factor ε^'' of EMIM-BF4 were fitted using the derived equations at temperature range of 5℃ to 65℃ and frequ...

The effect of a standing high-power high-frequency radio wave on the behavior of the F-layer ionospheric plasma is numerically investigated with the help of the mathematical model, developed earlier in the Polar Geophysi...
Quantum Corrections to the Newton’s Law from the Galilean Limit of Quantum Gravity
In this work the author derives the Galilean limit of the quantum gravity obtained by using the hydrodynamic approach. The result shows that the quantum interaction generates, in the limit of weak gravity, a non-zero con...
