Abstract
У статті досліджено наявні підходи до трактування поняття «виробничі запаси» у вітчизняній та зарубіжній літературі для поглиблення та уточнення його сутності. Розкрито сутність поняття «виробничі запаси» у нормативних документах. Представлено критичний огляд наявних підходів до їх визначення у фаховій літературі, що дало можливість уточнити сутність цієї обліково-економічної категорії.
