ЕКСПРЕСИВНІСТЬ СУЧАСНОГО УКРАЇНСЬКОМОВНОГО НАУКОВОГО ДИСКУРСУ: МЕЖІ МОЖЛИВОГО

Abstract
This article addresses the issue of appropriateness of expressive components usage in modern Ukrainian academic discourse. The paper proves the relevance of expressiveness for the academic presentation, while emphasizing its correlation with the principles of clarity and objectivity. The article determines the most effective means of Ukrainian language, which are employed to make academic speech confident and exciting without breaking its stylistic homogeneity. Common mistakes caused by the authors' intention to make their speech more expressive are analyzed. The paper suggests theoretical and practical recommendations as to the choice of expressivity means according to the selected substyle of speech (academic, educational, and scientific-popular).
