ELECTRONIC TEXTBOOK AS A SOURCE OF LINGVOSOCIOCULTURAL COMPETENCE OF HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

Abstract
In recent years, scientists intensified attention to the phenomenon of lingvosociocultural competence as one of the important indicators of readiness of the individual to intercultural communication. This problem is not a new one, the question of lingvosociocultural aspect of foreign languages learning has found theoretical interpretation in the works of many scientists (M.Ariyan, Ye.Vereschahin, I.Vorobyova, N.Hez, M.Yevtuh, I.Zymnya, N.Ishhanyan, V.Kostomarov, O.O.Leontyev, Yu.Passov, V.H.Redko, V.Safonova, L.Smelyakova, G .Tomahin, V.Topalova, P. Adler, D.Braun, R.Lado et al.). Feasibility of study of parallel language and culture have revealed in the works of many scientists, such as O.Byryuk, N.Borysko, Ye.Vereschahin, I.Vorobyova, N.Halskova, L.Holovanchuk, A.Hordyeyeva, A.Ivanova, N.Ishhanyan, V.Safonova, M.Fayenova, V.Furmanova, M.Byram, L. Damen, C.Kramsch, G.Neuner, B.Tomalin, G.Zarate and others. At the present stage of methods’ development of foreign language teaching scientists are aware to master foreign-language skills and abilities. Acquired skills are more flexible and sustainable, students’ thinking is characterized by different qualities such as independence, depth, insight, speed. Successful mastering of lingvosociocultural competence driven by scientif ic approaches is based on the certain principles and methodology. To study English at schools it is possible to use the computer as a tool, training, information bank for attracting and structuring of educational material; finding relevant data, presenting the results in graphic form. The feasibility of using electronic textbooks on various subjects is a real fact. Unlimited technical capabilities of these learning tools contribute to the modernization of the education system in accordance with the requirements of society and help as much as possible to take into account individual abilities of pupils. The method of working with an electronic book is one of the most important methods. The method of conversation is widely used at the English lessons. During the formation of lingvosociocultural competence by electronic textbook, this method promotes oral and written expression, leads to disclosure of their own ideas, encourages independent individual activities. Programmable training compared to traditional teaching and methodological tools can extend the range of pupils’ interests by means of media that promotes activation of their teaching and learning activities, intensify the learning process aimed at obtaining a significant amount of relevant information in the fixed time to learn discipline and productive use to achieve the aim. The electronic textbook can be used at different stages of obtaining educational information, one of which are practical tasks. Didactic programmable training opportunities contribute to the development of motivation of the students, individualization of learning, in which students develop and identify individual qualities, intellectual abilities, skills of independent work [3, c.8]. The use of the electronic textbook in educational process undoubtedly enhances the learning process of individualization. Electronic textbook as a typical printed textbook of studying material disclose the contents of the object, but unlike a typical printed textbook, more didactic functions are implemented in all structural components of the textbook, such as: thematic multimedia capabilities, examples of test questions, practical tasks, tests, etc. The level of a visual presentation significantly increased, because it uses audio, video. A peculiar feature of the electronic textbook is to constantly update educational information. Usage of e-book allows the teacher of English to engage pupils in the learning process. C. Yashanov rightly notes: «Using e-book in the teacher’s work change the process of teaching based on achievements in a particular area and significantly improve the quality of education due to the expansion of learning opportunities, diversity of individuality and presentation of theoretical and practical information [10, p. 246] «thus activate cognitive activity in the classroom during the learning of the material. Thus, improving the quality of education by means of e-book depends on the following factors: such as the structure, content, methods of presentation of educational material, a large number of examples, feedback and more.
