ЕЛЕМЕНТИ КАЗКОВОГО ТА ПОЗАКАЗКОВОГО ЧАСОПРОСТОРУ У КАЗЦІ-ПОВІСТІ АЛАНА МІЛНА «ВІННІ-ПУХ ТА ВСІ, ВСІ, ВСІ»

Abstract
У статті представлено аналіз хронотопічних моделей, вбудованих у архітектоніку казки-повісті Олександра Алана Мілна «Вінні-Пух та всі, всі, всі». З боку компаративістики, досліджуються спільні риси на розбіжності між авторською казкою та її фольклорним інваріантом. Виокремлено елементи казкового та поза казкового часопростору, представлені у творі, та описано їхнє семантичне навантаження і роль у контексті англійської казки-повісті. Проводяться паралелі із міфологічним типом свідомості та дитячим світосприйняттям. The article retraces the classic and non-classic fairy-tale elements built into the structure of the story «Winnie-the-Pooh and all, all, all» by A. Milne. The fairy-tale in question is analyzed through its comparison with oral folk literary tradition and traditional fairy-tale chronotope characterized by V. Propp in his work «The historical roots of a fairy-tale». It has been proved that the author’s story comprises both classical folk models of time and space, as well as the forms of the other genres, like a narrative and heroic adventure. The artistic world of «Winnie-the-Pooh and all, all, all» is deprived of the magic as the main fairy-tale component. It represents a world through the imagination of a child, playing with his toys. The space of the «Winnie-the-Pooh» is divided into two main models – a house or houses of friends (a kind of closed space) and a forest (an open space). Therefore, the forest, which is usually associated with danger in folklore, is reconsidered and is seen as a place for adventures, which any child may have on the playground. The chronotope of the road is widely used. All the actions of the main character are accompanied by some primitive songs and the variety of sounds, which tend to be reproduced by kids during their games. The idea of mythological type of thinking has been expressed and the connections with Scandinavian mythology have been provided. The protagonists move up and down in the same way as god Odin moves along the tree of life Iggdasil. Although A. Milne locates his protagonists into the earthly world, which mirrors the objective reality, the temporal models tend to fluctuate between those of a fairy-tale, and realistic ones. The traditional «once upon a time» even if being used is attached with «a very long time ago now, about last Friday», which produces comic effect. The main temporal patterns are: seasonal time, day time, both definite and indefinite time. The main characters can also be attached to a certain space, or tend to have vague location borders. Winnie-the-Pooh himself is thought as an intruder, who easily appears in all sorts of space, represented in the work by A. Milne. Being characterized as «а bear of little brain», «he hasn’t any brain», «pulp in his head», he resembles a classical and industrious Ivan-the-Fool, who with all that emerges unscathed manages to extricate himself from any challenging situation. Thus, the specificity of the tale structure allows it to exist on the fringe of adult and child-like reality, taking over the borders of magic.
