Embedded Ethernet Controller using ARM LPC2138

Abstract
With the development of network technology and communication technology needs that industrial control can be completed via network has become a trend. Here the proposed system consists of an ARM processor LPC2148 with an external Ethernet interface controller WIZ810MJ and the whole system can function as a web server. In the system the data can be transmitted transparently between host and serial device. The host can communicate with any serial device connected Ethernet without knowing each other’s physical location. Since ARM processor has fast execution capability and Ethernet standard can provide internet access with reasonable speed, this system is suitable for enhancing security in industrial conditions by remotely monitoring various industrial appliances where high safety and care is a necessity. There is no doubt that this system will be useful for a wide variety of industrial applications.
