ENGINEERING-GEOLOGICAL ZONING OF THE SOUTHERN PART OF THE KARAKALPAK USTYURT TERRITORY BASED ON RESISTANCE TO TECHNOGENIC IMPACTS

Abstract

The article presents data on the engineering and geological zoning of the Southern part of Ustyurt. The traditional method of mapping engineering and geological zoning has been chosen, with the allocation of taxonomic units based on well-known criteria for assessing the degree of suitability for construction or national economic development. The authors have identified four districts and 10 sites with a degree of resistance to man-made impacts and an increase in seismic intensity depending on the engineering and geological conditions of a particular site.
