ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY AS A PART OF THE STATE REGIONAL POLICY

Abstract
The quality of the environment is playing an increasingly important role as a factor of sustainable social development and competitiveness of Ukraine's economy in the global market. Significant environmental diversification in Ukraine, especially socio-economic processes in regions actualize the problem regionally differentiated approach to the management of environmental safety. The policy of socially oriented market economy transformation will have a chance of success if its implementation will be actively involved regions. That is why environmental policy should be considered in the light of a broader concept - regional policy. Regional environmental policy is an integral part of the national environmental policy. From solving regional environmental problems depends to some extent social and economic stability in Ukraine. Opening the theoretical foundations of regional policy and defining it in place environmental component, we can talk about further ways to enhance regional environmental policy in the management of regional processes. Indeed, environmental policy in the system of regional policy occupies a dominant position, which affirms the need for greening component of regional policy.
